Revisión del baremo de valoración de la dependencia en salud mental

Abstract

Con este Trabajo Fin de Grado, se pretende revisar el funcionamiento del Baremo de Valoración de la Situación de Dependencia frente a las personas que presentan problemas de salud mental, ya que se ha detectado la necesidad de adaptar esta herramienta a las necesidades y situaciones específicas que presenta actualmente este colectivo. Para ello, se ha abordado la atención social a la salud mental desde la perspectiva de falta de autonomía y/o discapacidad de la persona. Desde esta perspectiva se ha realizado una revisión de los indicadores y un análisis de las deficiencias que estos presentan en la consideración de las situaciones y necesidades que presenta este colectivo. De todo ello se deriva, que el baremo atiende de forma muy deficiente a las situaciones de este colectivo y sobre todo, dado su carácter cerrado, no permite o impide a los Trabajadores Sociales informar adecuadamente de la situación y las necesidades concretas que presentan las personas pertenecientes a este colectivo.

To this end, social care for mental health has been addressed from the perspective of the person's lack of autonomy and/or disability.
