La novela Lolita de Vladimir Nabokov se ha llevado a la gran pantalla en dos ocasiones por los directores Stanley Kubrick (1962) y Adrian Lyne (1997). El presente trabajo consiste en un análisis reflexivo y comparativo de los filmes abordando aspectos tales como su género, estructura o lenguaje cinematográfico. Como base del estudio se realiza un recorrido a través de la propia novela y la representación del icono mítico de Lolita. La consecución de este trabajo confirma cómo el Arte, además de ser un reflejo de la sociedad, es capaz de influir en su desarrollo a lo largo del tiempo.
The novel, Lolita written by Vladimir Nabokov has been taken to the big screen twice by the directors Stanley Kubrick (1962) and Adrian Lyne (1997). It is a reflexive and comparative analysis of both films, investigating aspects such as its genre, structure, or cinematographic language. As a grounding of this analysis there is a journey through the novel and the mythical icon of Lolita. This document confirms how Art, on top of being a reflection of society, is capable of influencing in its development through time.
