El objetivo de este trabajo es crear un corpus lingüístico lo suficientemente
amplio como para poder diferenciar la variedad del español de México de la variedad
del español peninsular. Para ello hemos seleccionado tres diarios que se encuentran
entre los más antiguos y emblemáticos de México tomando como línea temporal las
distintas fiestas y tradiciones típicas de México desde noviembre de 2022 hasta abril de
2023.
Dentro de este corpus lingüístico hemos ido analizando las noticias que
contenían palabras diferentes y eran ajenas a la variedad del español peninsular. De este
modo, hemos ido elaborando un diccionario.
A la hora de buscar el significado de estas palabras dentro del contexto de la
noticia hemos consultado tres diccionarios distintos: el Diccionario de la Real Academia
Española, el Diccionario del Español de México y el Diccionario de Americanismos.
El resultado de todo este estudio nos ha llevado a la elaboración de un léxico
diferencial donde se ponen de manifiesto las diferencias léxicas entre la variedad del
español peninsular y la variedad del español de México.
The objective of this work is to create a linguistic corpus large enough to be able
to differentiate the variety of Spanish from Mexico with the variety of peninsular
Spanish. For this, we have selected three newspapers that are among the oldest and most
emblematic in Mexico, taking as a time line the different festivals and typical traditions
of Mexico from November 2022 to April 2023.
Within this linguistic corpus we have been analyzing the news that had different
words and alien to the variety of peninsular Spanish. In this way, we have been
developing a dictionary.
When looking for the meaning of these words within the context of the news, we
have consulted three different dictionaries: the Dictionary of the Royal Spanish
Academy, the Mexican Spanish Dictionary and the Dictionary of Americanisms.
The result of all this study has led us to the elaboration of a differential lexicon
where the lexical differences between the peninsular Spanish variety and the Mexican
Spanish variety are revealed.
