En este trabajo se analizan los matrimonios en la Edad Media; la legislación canónica que los pautaban, los cambios que se produce en ella en el tiempo también los tipos de matrimonios que existían, los protocolos que los componían y las uniones que formalizaban. Planteamos que los matrimonios evolucionan con la intervención que va realizando la Iglesia en ellos, hasta que adquieres un poder total sobre ellos. Este confluye en el papel de las mujeres. Por otro lado, observamos el papel de la realeza, nobleza, burguesía, artesanado y campesinado en el matrimonio. Tomaremos como hilo conductor el derecho canónico, los estudios sobre el trabajo y las religiones que tengan relación con el matrimonio y por último las nuevas corrientes de género.
The following essay will analyze the marriages in the Middle Age; the canonical legislation who was the guideline, the changes that occurred also the tipes of marrige that existed, the protocol that made them up and the unions that it formalizes. We develop that the marrige evoluted with the Catholic intervention, until they acquire it totally. This ends up in the labor of women. On the other hand we will see the actuation of the royalty, the nobility the bourgeoisie and the craftsman and pesantry. We will take as common thread the Canon law, then the sstudies about the labor world or the coexistence between religions that were relationated whith the marriage and finally the gender studies.
