Certificación en B Corp VIÑAS VIEJAS

Abstract

B Corp es un movimiento mundial de empresas que pretenden transformar el mundo en un lugar mejor a través del cuidado del medio ambiente y la sociedad. La certificación exige cumplir rigurosos requisitos de desempeño social y ambiental. Este proyecto pretende servir como guía para empresas que deseen certificarse por primera vez a través del caso práctico de una compañía de vinos española que pretende ser la primera del sector en certificarse a nivel mundial. Se ha realizado un análisis de la compañía Viñas Viejas, para comprobar cuales de los requisitos exigidos por B Corp no alcanza y las adaptaciones necesarias para cumplirlos. Al final del estudio se detallan las conclusiones sobre la viabilidad del proyecto y las áreas en las que es necesario incidir más para llegar a los estándares. Esta nueva forma de hacer negocios pilla un poco rezagada a la industria española en algunas áreas.

Certification requires meeting rigorous social and environmental performance requirements. This project aims to serve as a guide for companies that wish to be certified for the first time through the practical case of a Spanish wine company that intends to be the first in the sector to be certified worldwide. An analysis of the Viñas Viejas company has been carried out, to verify which of the requirements demanded by B Corp does not meet and the necessary adaptations to comply with them. At the end of the study, the conclusions on the feasibility of the project and the areas in which it is necessary to influence more to reach the standards are detailed. This new way of doing business is a bit behind the Spanish industry in some areas.
