Paisaje patrimonial y agrícola en la cuenca baja del valle lurín, Perú: testigos del tiempo y la memoria inca

Abstract

Mantener la Identidad Histórica de un territorio contribuye a reconocer y valorar las raíces de cada etapa en su desarrollo, revelando cómo el pasado ha influido en la configuración del paisaje, la cultura y la vida de sus habitantes; además, fomenta una conexión profunda con la herencia ancestral, siendo esencial para el bienestar comunitario y la continuidad cultural. En este mismo sentido, la Identidad Histórica del Valle Sagrado de Lurín en Perú representa un vínculo profundo entre el pasado y el presente, con ello la esencia de las culturas Lima e Incaica, el legado en la llegada española y la evolución contemporánea que prevalecen aún sobre el territorio, por lo que, preservar y potenciar esta identidad es crucial, ya que no sólo honra el patrimonio cultural y agrícola del Valle, sino que también proporciona una base sólida para la cohesión social y el sentido de pertenencia en la comunidad actual; además, preservarla contribuye a la sostenibilidad cultural y ambiental del valle para garantizar que las futuras generaciones puedan disfrutar y aprender de este legado. A la actualidad, el Valle Sagrado de Lurín enfrenta el desafío de preservar esta identidad histórica y agrícola debido a las constantes propuestas de cambio radical a pesar de su presencia cultural y natural, estos cambios subrayan la necesidad de estrategias efectivas de manera que preserven la identidad histórica de su paisaje. Este trabajo de investigación explora la evolución del Valle de Lurín desde sus primeras interacciones con la cultura inca hasta la actualidad; así mismo examinando los eventos históricos, culturales y socioeconómicos que han influido en su desarrollo a lo largo de los siglos; además, presenta un primer esbozo de proyecto que ofrece una perspectiva integral sobre la preservación del legado histórico y cultural del valle, considerando su evolución y adaptación a las demandas contemporáneas.

Maintaining the Historical Identity of a territory contributes to recognize and value the roots of each stage in its development, revealing how the past has influenced the configuration of the landscape, the culture and the life of its inhabitants; it also fosters a deep connection with the ancestral heritage, being essential for community well-being and cultural continuity. In this same sense, the Historical Identity of the Sacred Valley of Lurin in Peru represents a deep link between the past and the present, with it the essence of the Lima and Inca cultures, the legacy of the Spanish arrival and the contemporary evolution that still prevails over the territory, therefore, preserving and enhancing this identity is crucial, as it not only honors the cultural and agricultural heritage of the Valley, but also provides a solid foundation for social cohesion and a sense of belonging in today’s community; Moreover, preserving it contributes to the cultural and environmental sustainability of the valley to ensure that future generations can enjoy and learn from this legacy. At present, the Sacred Valley of Lurin faces the challenge of preserving this historical and agricultural identity due to the constant proposals for radical change despite its cultural and natural presence, these changes underscore the need for effective strategies to preserve the historical identity of its landscape. This research work explores the evolution of the Lurin Valley from its earliest interactions with the Inca culture to the present day, examining the historical, cultural and socioeconomic events that have influenced its development over the centuries, and presents a first draft of a project that offers a comprehensive perspective on the preservation of the valley’s historical and cultural legacy, considering its evolution and adaptation to contemporary demands.
