Film sequences and roles in the origin the Egyptian architectura

Abstract

The work analyzes the role of the architect shown in Cecil B. DeMille's films 'The Ten Commandments' in the 1956 and 1923 versions. In both films different interpretations appeared in relation to this role of the architect. Likewise, the parallels between the character and Imhotep, grand vizier and architect during the command of Netjerykhet Djoser (Zoser), second pharaoh of the Third Dynasty (2,686-2,613 BC) are shown. El trabajo analiza el papel el papel del arquitecto que se muestra en las películas de Cecil B. DeMille 'Los Diez Mandamientos' en las versiones de 1956 y de 1923. En ambas películas aparecieron diferentes interpretaciones en relación a este papel del arquitecto. Asimismo, se muestran los paralelismos entre el personaje e Imhotep, gran visir y arquitecto durante el mando de Netjerykhet Djoser (Zoser), segundo faraón de la III Dinastía (2.686-2.613 a.C.)
