Resumo
Until recently, the occupation of the 1st half of the 1st century at Monte Molião was very poorly known. In fact,
only a few materials, almost all out of context, allowed this occupation to be considered, showing that between the end of the
republic and the Flavian era the site had remained occupied. In recent years, it has been possible to excavate well-preserved
contexts that can be associated with the Julio-Claudian dynasty, which provided ceramic vessels, glass and metallic artifacts that
could be analyzed together, thus enabling a more correct and integrated reading of the referred occupation in a chronological
and cultural perspective. This occupation is associated with a building, which, built in the republican era, was occupied until
the reign of the Flavians.
