El trabajo se centra en el activo papel desempeñado por Juan del Ribero en la difusión de la estética clasicista y la formulación de una tipología arquitectónica, como fueron los monasterios vinculados a la reforma de la Congregación de San Benito. Para lograr este protagonismo Ribero dispuso a su favor de un sistema de trabajo sustentado en dos fuertes pilares: por un lado, su capacidad para diseñar la traza general del edificio y, por otro, la organización racional del trabajo y el completo control de las fábricas.
The work focuses on the active role played by Juan Ribero in the dissemination of classical aesthetics and the development of an architectural style as the monasteries were linked to the reform of the Congregation of St. Benedict. To achieve this role Ribero decided in favor of a working system based on two strong pillars: first, their ability to design the overall layout of the building and on the other, the rational organization of work and complete control of the factories.
