Por otra parte el hecho de que se mencione la Península Ibérica, como lugar del confinamiento tras el apresamiento del jefe bárbaro, invita a reflexionar sobre el papel que la "Diocesis Hispaniorum" representó en la proclamación del nuevo Augusto.
