With this work tries to clarify finally some aspects relating to a military plate Roman of metal originating in the excavations of Herrera of Pisuerga The direct ignorance of this object, as well as of its archaeological context has carried an investigator to interpreting it of a form, to our judgment, erroneous. Besides, opinions exist differentiated on the reading of said plate.
Con este trabajo se intentan aclarar definitivamente algunos aspectos relativos a una placa militar romana de metal procedente de las excavaciones de Herrera de Pisuerga. El desconocimiento directo de este objeto, así como de su contexto arqueológico ha llevado a un investigador a interpretarla de una forma, a nuestro juicio, errónea. Además, existen opiniones diferenciadas sobre la lectura de dicha placa.
