RT info:eu-repo/semantics/article T1 Japón en Yeats y Yeats en Japón: sobre " At The Hawk's Well y Takahime". Un camino florido de ida y vuelta A1 Cid Lucas, Fernando A2 Ediciones Universidad de Valladolid K1 Filología Inglesa AB This paper briefly deals with the influence of Japanese Noh theatre on the plays written by the Irish author William Butler Yeats from the year 1915 and the repercussion that one of his plays, At the Hawk's Well, had on contemporary Japanese theatre, chiefly in Takahime, by Mario Yohimichi, a remake of Yeats's aforementioned play. Likewise, a panoramic view of the European society of the moment concerned about changes in art as a result of the thriving influence of the Japanese movement will be drawn up, and authors such as Ezra Pound, Ernest Fenollosa or Edward Gordon Craig considered pioneers on that issue.
