Google Translate and Microsoft Bing Translator are twoof the on-line Machine Translation systems most used nowadays. The aim of this paperis to assess the quality of their translations in order to present which MachineTranslation system provides an inadequate quality level. Nevertheless, there is not still aunique methodology to assess the real quality of the translations accomplished by thesetools. A combination of two processes is used to measure the translations: the erroranalysis method and the corpus-based method. Also, a specialized text and a nonspecializedtext are used in order to show their possible influence in the performances ofthe Machine Translation systems.Key words: Machine Translation system, Google Translate, Microsoft Bing Translator,quality assessment, business translation, error analysis.
