Marañón Sexo, trabajo y deporte (1926). Teniendo en cuenta el saber y prestigio internacional de este hombre (miembro de la Academia de la Lengua y de la Academia de Medicina, autor de numerosos escritos, etc.) sus ideas sobre sexo, género, maternidad, trabajo doméstico, feminidad, masculinidad, trabajo o deporte pueden considerarse representativas del pensamiento dominante en esa época en torno a dichos temas.
