There participated 684 pupils of the subject of Physical Education (323 boys and 361 girls), with ages understood between the 11 and 18 years. The Scale was in use for the measure of the satisfaction of the sports practice (EMSPD) and the factor "demotivation" of the Scale of the Perceived Locus of causality (PLOC). A descriptive analysis was realized and correlacional of the information. The properties decided psychometrics of the scales. Finally, an ANOVA was effected by gender and the educational stage and an analysis of linear regression. The results indicate that, as it is advanced in the courses, the students prove to be less satisfied and more demotivated towards the area. With regard to the gender, the boys perceive with more satisfaction the area that the girls. The discussion is on considering the perception of the student in order to make the type of teaching thatwants to be obtained.
