AB The present experiment intends to get the students familiarized with aqueous biphasic systems, a new type of liquid-liquid equilibrium that is currently being used in different biotechnological processes due to its benign character. Therefore, an aqueous solution of bioethanol will be concentrated after a preliminary definition of the binodal curve.
