In order to prove this theory, I present how literatureand history are included in the EFL syllabus and their importance as a tool in the EFLclassroom. Then, I show the main benefits of intruding comic-like literary works in theEFL classroom, specially graphic narratives. Besides, the proposal for intervention basedon Maus (1996) is explained in terms of the objectives that it pursues, the corecompetences that it aims to achieve, the methodological approach that its implementationfollows, etc. Finally, a description of the proposal concerning the sessions that composeit and the activities that are implemented is presented.
