This proposal is basedupon the importance culture has for the society and the language. The main pillar overwhich this paper is based on is that the teaching of a language cannot be contemplatedwithout the teaching about the culture, history, etc. otherwise there would be a failedattempt in teaching. Therefore, a teaching proposal taking some cultural elements will beincluded in this paper. Out of these cultural elements, the Bonfire Night is the central one,taking into account both its historical original and its current conception as a nationalholiday.
