AB Hirtius, one of Caesar's less well-known Iieutenants, it is not only notorious by their dramatic consulate in the year 43 B.C., but for their plentiful emission of aura; in the year 46 B.C. In this article this emission of gold is studied, as well as of the sources that link Hirtius with Spain, so much Iiterary as numismatists.
