dc.description.abstract | Learning a Second Language is never easy and even less if you have Hearing
Impairment. Although Deficiency can be mitigated with Technical Aids, it is very
important to keep in mind what kind of help is being used because not all the Hearing
Aids have the same effect on the reception of the language and its coding. The school
has a very important role in how the First and Second Languages are going to be
developed and are in charge of helping the Deaf child to learn the Languages efficiently
and to carry out strategies of inclusion in the classroom so that the learning becomes
more successful. Sign Language is also an important component in acquiring a
Language because, in the absence of Oral Language, it can help in the development of
Symbolic Representation, a very important step in the acquisition of other languages,
whether Signs or Oral. | es |
