Educar en contacto con la naturaleza: un enfoque interdisciplinar desde la especialidad de Educación Física en Educación Primaria

Abstract

La desconexión con el mundo natural afecta a la salud física y mental de los niños/as. La idea de que la falta de contacto con el medio natural aliena a los niños/as y los hace enfermar es respaldada por varios autores que menciono en este trabajo. Las escuelas se han convertido en búnkeres, cárceles tecnológicas que evitan el contacto directo con el entorno, donde nos sentimos seguros, protegidos, pero también limitados sensorial y motrizmente. Con este proyecto busco despertar en el educador la necesidad de promover el contacto de sus alumnos/as con el entorno natural, para que mejoren, no solo su capacidad cognitivo-motriz, sino también su habilidad social, creativa y empática con otros compañeros/as y con el medio. He creado, para fomentar esta educación en la empatía medioambiental, una propuesta de secuenciación de actividades al aire libre que se pueden llevar acabo en toda la Primaria. Estas actividades tratarán el contenido transversal del medio natural en relación con las áreas de Ciencias Sociales, Ciencias Naturales y principalmente, Educación Física.

Disconnection with the natural world affects the physical and mental health of children. The idea that the lack of contact with the natural environment alienates children and makes them sick is backed by several authors I mention in this work. Schools have become bunkers, technological prisons that avoid direct contact with the environment, where we feel safe, protected, but also limited sensory and motive. With this project I seek to awaken in the educator the need to promote the contact of their students with the natural environment, to improve, not only their cognitive-motive capacity, but also their social skills, creative and empathetic with other partners and with the Middle. I have created, in order to promote this education in environmental empathy, a proposal for the sequencing of outdoor activities that can be carried out throughout the primary. These activities will deal with the transversal content of the natural environment in relation to the areas of social sciences, natural sciences and mainly physical education.
