Manual de acogida al alumno/a de nueva incorporación al medio hospitalario (Revisión bibliográfica)

Abstract

Introducción: Las habilidades clínicas de los estudiantes de enfermería se ven condicionadas por el temor e inseguridad que sienten ante aquello que desconocen, sumado a que no han tenido previo contacto con ningún paciente. Ante la complejidad de esta situación y a pesar de irán adquiriendo conocimientos, volviéndose más hábiles y competentes, la familiarización con el entorno disminuiría significativamente sus temores al inicio de prácticas. Inicialmente, deberían tener conocimiento de aspectos como: identificación, estructura física del centro, prevención de riesgos laborales, seguridad del paciente, intimidad y confidencialidad, además de la normativa de prácticas. Objetivo: Conocer la experiencia de los alumnos de enfermería durante sus prácticas clínicas y la disponibilidad de Manuales de Acogida para facilitarles el nuevo medio. Metodología: Revisión bibliográfica en bases de datos como PubMed, Scielo y Elsevier además del envío de email-s a 187 Universidades de Enfermería. Resultados: La mayoría de los alumnos experimenta sentimientos negativos durante el primer contacto con el paciente, y el desarrollo de la práctica clínica se ve influenciada por factores de estrés. La mayor parte de los accidentes biológicos son por vía percutánea o pinchazo asociados a la deficiente formación recibida. En muchos aspectos de la práctica clínica, se atenta contra la seguridad del paciente. En las Universidades consultadas, la mayor parte carecían de un manual de acogida en el medio hospitalario. Conclusión: No existen estudios de investigación que tengan como objetivo conocer la disponibilidad e influencia de los manuales de acogida en los estudiantes de enfermería, así como no hay evidencia con respecto a su eficacia durante las prácticas clínicas.

Introduction: The nursery students clinic abilities are condicioned by some factors like fair or insecurity, that make them feel afraid from something new. Some of them, don´t even had a direct contact with any patient. According with this situation and already knowing that the student`s will get used to it, they will be more professionals and competent, and so the fair will decrease considerably at the beginning of practices. Initially, they should have to knowledge aspects like: identification, physical structure of the center, prevention of occupational risks, patient safety, privacy and confidentiality, and practices regulations. Objective: To know about how is the experience of the students during their clinical clerkship, and too see how the manual for new students on training is helping to improve. Methodology: Doing a bibliography revision from this different data bases PubMed, Scielo and Elsevier, and also send emails to 187 colleagues of nursery around the world. Results: Most of the students experience bad feelings during the first contact with the patient and the improvements of the clinical training, are affected by very stressful factors. Most of the accidents are bio and they have relation with the pricks or the IV collocation and that depend`s on how good the students have been prepared for the situation. In lot of circunstances, the attempt against the patient security. Most of the colleges got information about clinical practice but don`t have available the manual of new receptions in the hospital buildings. Conclussion: It doesn`t exist any study or research of investigation that are taking care of the manual`s for the future student`s of nursery, wich we don`t see it any effective or efficient.
