La enseñanza y aprendizaje de la lectoescritura

Abstract

El aprendizaje de la lectura y la escritura es un proceso que el propio niño va construyendo poco a poco ayudado por el adulto. Este trabajo puede servir de guía para docentes y futuros docentes que se preguntan cómo llevar la teoría a la práctica teniendo en cuenta las necesidades y características del niño. Aborda los aspectos más importantes que rodean el mundo de la lectoescritura, respondiendo a las preguntas de por qué enseñar a leer y escribir, cuándo enseñar y cómo enseñar. Además de hacer un repaso por los diferentes métodos de enseñanza de la lectoescritura, con sus ventajas e inconvenientes, se ofrece un planteamiento innovador en el aula desde una perspectiva constructivista a través de un plan de trabajo basado en los textos de uso social, teniendo en cuenta los procesos de adquisición y desarrollo del lenguaje escrito.

Reading and writing learning is a process built by the child himself progressively and supported by the adult. The domain of written language will depend on how he or she receive that teaching in school. This work can serve as a guide for teachers and future teachers who wonder how to put theory into practice taking into account the needs and characteristics of the child. It tackles the most important issues surrounding the world of literacy, answering questions such as: why to teach reading and writing?, when to teach? and how to teach?, futthermore, it considers the conception we have about reading and writing. In addition to make a review of the different reading and writing teaching methods, with their advantages and disadvantages, this work offers an innovative approach from a constructivist perspective in the classroom, through a work plan based on texts of social use, taking into account the processes of acquisition and development of written language of the child.
