En este TFG se propone el desarrollo de un método de lectura y escritura adaptado al alumnado con Síndrome de Down. Esta patología lleva asociada unas características que influyen en el desarrollo de sus aprendizajes. Su inclusión educativa en los centros ordinarios fomenta su integración social, pero requiere de un profesorado y aulas de apoyo específicas para adaptar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje a sus necesidades y poder conseguir el máximo desarrollo de sus capacidades.
This final-year dissertation aims to develop a reading and writing method adapted to students with Down syndrome. This pathology is associated with certain characteristics that affect the development of their learning. The educational inclusion of such students in ordinary places of learning promotes their social integration, but requires that there be specific teaching staff and support classrooms in place to adapt the teaching-learning process to their needs and be able to achieve the full development of their abilities.
