Procesos inclusivos en la trayectoria vital de tres nadadores de élite con discapacidad: un estudio multicaso

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster desarrolla una investigación que analiza las experiencias vitales de tres nadadores de élite con discapacidad física con el objetivo de encontrar interconexiones que, junto a los testimonios y experiencias de otros tres informantes clave, nos permitan descubrir la influencia inclusiva que ha tenido la actividad física y el deporte en sus vidas. Se ha llevado a cabo a través del método cualitativo de estudio multicaso apoyándose en los testimonios de tres deportistas de élite y otros tres informantes que han resultado ser clave para dar mayor verosimilitud a los resultados. Se pudo comprobar que esa práctica deportiva durante casi toda su vida dejó una trascendencia en sus estilos de vida, hasta el punto de abrazar su propia discapacidad o considerar un conjunto de apoyos necesarios para su inclusión social, deportiva y educativa.

This Master dissertation degree develops a research project that analyses the life experiences of three elite swimmers with physical disabilities with the aim of finding interconnections that, together with the testimonies and experiences of three other key informants, allow us to discover the inclusive influence that physical activity and sport have had on their lives. It has been carried out through the qualitative method of a multi-case study based on the testimonies of three elite athletes and three other key informants who have proved to be key to give greater credibility to the results. It was possible to verify that this sporting practice throughout almost their entire lives left a transcendence in their lifestyles, to the point of embracing their own disability or considering a set of necessary supports for their social, sporting and educational inclusion.
