se ha convertido en un problema bastante común y sigue en aumento. Por ello será necesario
comprender la normativa existente para aplicarla de la mejor forma posible, protegiendo en
todo momento el interés superior del menor que será el núcleo de esta materia.
El nuevo Reglamento 2019/1111 que entrará en vigor en 2022 será clave, y da respuesta a
una necesaria reforma, ya que introducirá novedades respecto al anterior Reglamento,
ofreciendo una visión más actualizada que suprime las lagunas existentes.
In the 21st century, in an increasingly globalized world, international child abduction has
become a fairly common problem and continues to increase. It will therefore be necessary
to understand the existing regulations in order to apply them in the best possible way,
protecting at all times the best interests of the child which will be at the core of this matter.
The new Regulation 2019/1111 that will enter into force in 2022 will be key, and it responds
to a necessary reform, as it will introduce novelties with respect to the previous Regulation,
offering a more updated vision that eliminates the existing gaps.
