Este trabajo tiene por objetivo explorar el tipo de discurso de odio en Twitter. Para ello, se analiza los mensajes publicados en esta red social sobre la ley trans, cuyo borrador salió publicado el día 2 de febrero de 2021. Para ello, se aborda un análisis de contenido de un total de 82 tweets en dos estudios distintos. El primero abarca desde el día 2 de febrero, fecha de la publicación del borrador de la ley trans, hasta el día 28 de febrero. El segundo tiene como intervalo de tiempo desde el 26 de mayo de 2021, día en que se aprobó dicha ley en Canarias, hasta el 4 de junio. Ambos estudios tienen por objetivo indagar tanto en el tipo de discurso de odio que más abunda en Twitter, así como el tipo de usuario que lo promueve. Las conclusiones apuntan a que las ofensas a la sensibilidad colectiva es el tipo de ataque más común y que los perfiles ordinarios son los que lo escriben.
The aim of this study is to explore the type of hate speech on Twitter. To do so, it analyses the messages published on this social media about the Trans Law, whose draft was published on 2 February 2021. To do so, a content analysis of a total of 82 tweets was carried out in two differents studies. The first covers the period from 2 February, the date of publication of the draft of the Trans Law, to 28 February. The second covers the period from 26 May 2021, when the law was passed in the Canary Islands, to 4 June. Both studies aim to find out both the type of hate speech that is most abundant on Twitter, as well as the type of user who promotes it. The conclusions point to the fact that offences to collective sensibilities are the most common type of attack and that ordinary profiles are the ones who write them.
