Resumen
The main objective of this work is to identify and to understand the meaning of the
different signals of an induction motor, being able to detect whether and where an
abnormal behavior can exist, once the different faults have been studied.
Another objective is to study the different parts that compose a test bench, installed in
the laboratory of the University of Pavia, in Italy. With the three-phase induction motor
(model RAEL RL 90L 4), some tests have been carried to understand the different parts
of an induction motor, and how it operates depending on the load applied to it.
