Evolución del sistema educativo en la comarca de Tierra de Campos. Entrevistas a generaciones de estudiantes de escuelas rurales

Abstract

Con este Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) se pretende remarcar que las escuelas en el medio rural tienen un gran valor a pesar de haber sido infravaloradas desde hace muchas décadas. En contra de una extendida opinión, no se trata de escuelas sin futuro o sin capacidades, sino que son iguales que las escuelas situadas en cualquier otro espacio. Sus alumnos consiguen avanzar de la misma forma que quienes cursan sus estudios en ciudades o municipios que superan en gran número de habitantes a los municipios de la España Vaciada. No por ello tienen un menor nivel o podrán acceder en un futuro a menos oportunidades que los demás. Para ello, se analizan las vivencias de la sociedad rural mediante entrevistas a distintas personas sobre su infancia, sus vivencias y recuerdos en la escuela desde los años 40 hasta la actualidad. La investigación se realiza en la comarca de Tierra de Campos, una zona central de Castilla y León que, aun estando casi despoblada y con una población más bien envejecida, mantiene centros escolares en cabezas de comarca, para que los alumnos puedan continuar con su educación sin tener que abandonar sus municipios, haciendo así que estos sigan adelante y no desaparezcan.

The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to emphasize that schools in rural areas have a great value in spite of having been undervalued for many decades. Contrary to a widespread opinion, they are not schools without a future or without capabilities, but rather they are the same as schools located in any other area. Their students manage to advance in the same way as those who study in cities or municipalities that outnumber the municipalities of España Vaciada by a large number of inhabitants. This does not mean that they have a lower level of education or that they will be able to access fewer opportunities than others in the future. For this, the experiences of the rural society are analyzed by means of interviews to different people about their childhood, their experiences and memories in the school from the 40's to the present time. The research is carried out in the region of Tierra de Campos, a central area of Castilla y León which, despite being almost depopulated and with a rather aged population, maintains schools in the head of the region, so that students can continue their education without having to leave their municipalities, thus keeping them going and not disappearing.
