Gestación y maternidad en situaciones de vulnerabilidad social: un proyecto de intervención socioeducativa

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende acercarse a la situación de gestación y maternidad en mujeres en situaciones de vulnerabilidad social, desde el punto de vista de la Educación Social. En primer lugar, abordaremos el fenómeno de la maternidad y el embarazo, desde una perspectiva social. A la vez, se recopilará las distintas situaciones de vulnerabilidad en las que una mujer puede enfrentarse durante este periodo de vida y sus consecuencias en ellas y en los hijos/as. Posteriormente, se desarrolla un diseño de intervención socioeducativa el cual busca generar cambios en las prácticas y comportamientos de las madres y su entorno, favoreciendo el proceso gestante y el consiguiente vinculo entre la madre y el hijo/a. Esta intervención se realizará directamente con las madres y la figura de acompañamiento, creando una red de apoyo emocional, logístico, de seguridad y confianza.

This document aims to approach the situation of pregnancy and motherhood in women in situations of social vulnerability, from the point of view of Social Education. Firstly, we will approach the phenomenon of maternity and pregnancy from a social perspective. At the same time, we will compile the different situations of vulnerability in which a woman can face during this period of life and its consequences on them and their children. Subsequently, a socio-educational intervention design will be developed which seeks to generate changes in the practices and behaviours of mothers and their environment, favouring the pregnancy process and the resulting bond between mother and child. This intervention will be carried out directly with the mothers and the accompanying figure, creating a network of emotional, logistical, security and trust support.
