Plan de Ejecución BIM (PEB): una aproximación práctica desde un entorno académico.

Abstract

The multidisciplinary nature of current projects has generated both in professional and educational environments a need for collaborative work, requiring project teams to develop some specific documents to achieve a successful implementation of BIM. Among them, we will highlight the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), through which all the team members previously know the responsibilities associated with the implementation of BIM in the project workflow. This document presents a methodology for the elaboration of a PEB composed by stages that can be summarized as follows: identification of the goals and uses of BIM, designing of the BIM implementation process, definition of delivering models and, finally, identification of the necessary infrastructure. The base of the process will be a VBA software with a template that will include all the information needed for the PEB creation. Then, it will be automated using proprietary software tasks and data validation. All final documents have been adapted to the PAS Standard Recommendations 1192_2_2013 of the British-Standards-Institution.
