Cuando era niño, soñaba con las armas y el guerrero: acercamiento a las adaptaciones españolas de la Eneida en el siglo XX.

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se propone analizar tres versiones de la epopeya del pueblo romano: La Eneida. Su finalidad es fomentar la visibilidad de esta obra maestra que es un engranaje fundamental para comprender los argumentos de muchas películas y libros actuales y, además, la lectura del canto II de la Eneida forma parte de la actual EBAU. Además, se considera que la obra puede acompañar a los lectores en distintos momentos de su vida, desde una edad temprana hasta que lean la obra sin adaptar. La propuesta consta de tres partes: una basada en el análisis del estado de la cuestión, centrada en la lectura de los clásicos en el entorno educativo, el canon y las adaptaciones y las versiones de la Eneida; la segunda analiza las tres adaptaciones formales (Manuel Vallvé, Rosa Navarro y Vicente Cristóbal) y, por último, la tercera, orientada al empleo las ilustraciones en las versiones infantiles. Se trata, en su conjunto, de ofrecer una reflexión de estas adaptaciones españolas tomando como punto de partida la obra virgiliana.

This Master's Degree Work aims to analyze three versions of the epic of the Roman people: La Eneida. Its purpose is to promote the visibility of this masterpiece which is a fundamental gear for understanding the plots of many films and books today and, in addition, the reading of chant II of the Eneida is part of the current EBAU. In addition, it is considered that the work can accompany readers at different times in their lives, from an early age until they read the work without adapting. The proposal consists of three parts: one based on the analysis of the state of the question, focused on the reading of classics in the educational environment, the canon and adaptations and versions of the Eneida; the second analyses the three formal adaptations (Manuel Vallvé, Rosa Navarro and Vicente Cristóbal) and, finally, the third, aimed at the use of illustrations in children's versions. All in all, it is a question of offering a reflection of these Spanish adaptations taking as a starting point the Virgilian work.
