Influencia y recepción de la Nouvelle Vague en la novela española durante el franquismo

Abstract

La relación entre el cine y la literatura ha sido ampliamente estudiada desde diversas perspectivas críticas, consolidándose como un campo de análisis de gran calado dentro de los estudios comparatistas. Se ha establecido que las influencias entre ambas disciplinas son de ida y vuelta, generando diálogos formales, narrativos y temáticos que han sido objeto de múltiples investigaciones. Sin embargo, a pesar del reconocimiento de estos vínculos, la recepción e influencia de la corriente cinematográfica de la Nouvelle Vague en la literatura española del siglo XX no ha sido abordada con la profundidad que merece. Esta laguna crítica pone de manifiesto la necesidad de atender a este fenómeno con un enfoque que permita comprender su impacto en la narrativa española. Para abordar estos objetivos, se adoptará una metodología de carácter hermenéutico y comparatista, centrada en el estudio de casos específicos mediante un close reading tanto del texto literario como de la imagen cinematográfica. Se aplicará un comentario literario y fílmico detallado. Asimismo, se justificará la elección de ciertos autores y películas en función de su relevancia dentro de esta intersección artística. Con este análisis, se busca contribuir al conocimiento de los vínculos entre la Nouvelle Vague y la literatura española, ampliando el horizonte crítico sobre las influencias cinematográficas en la narrativa del siglo XX.

The conection between film and literature has been widely studied from various critical perspectives, consolidating itself as a field of analysis of great importance within comparative studies. It has been established that the influences between the two disciplines go back and forth, generating formal, narrative and thematic dialogues that have been the subject of multiple investigations. However, despite the recognition of these links, the reception and influence of the Nouvelle Vague cinematic current in 20th century Spanish literature has not been approached with the depth it deserves. This critical gap highlights the need to address this phenomenon with an approach that allows us to understand its impact on Spanish narrative. In order to address these objectives, a hermeneutic and comparative methodology will be adopted, focusing on the study of specific cases through a close reading of both the literary text and the cinematographic image. A detailed literary and filmic commentary will be applied. The choice of certain authors and films will also be justified in terms of their relevance within this artistic intersection. The aim of this analysis is to contribute to the knowledge of the links between the Nouvelle Vague and Spanish literature, broadening the critical horizon of the cinematographic influences on 20th century narrative.
