Terror found footage: concepción y desarrollo del cortometraje Dybbuk

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Máster consiste en la creación del cortometraje de terror Dybbuk, desarrollado en formato found footage y con una estética influida por el analog horror. El objetivo principal ha sido explorar la representación del miedo desde una narrativa subjetiva, utilizando recursos limitados y bajo presupuesto. El trabajo combina una contextualización teórica sobre el cine de terror y el subgénero found footage, con una memoria practica que documenta todo el proceso creativo, desde la concepción de la idea y la escritura de guion hasta el rodaje, montaje y postproducción. Dybbuk es un cortometraje que busca construir una atmosfera progresivamente incomoda e inquietante mediante el deterioro visual y sonoro del material y se plantea como una reflexión sobre los límites entre la ficción y el documental.

This Master's Thesis consists of the creation of the horror short film Dybbuk, developed in found footage format and with an aesthetic influenced by analog horror. The main objective was to explore the representation of fear from a subjective narrative, using limited resources and a low budget. The work combines a theoretical contextualisation of horror cinema and the found footage subgenre, with a practical memory that documents the entire creative process, from the conception of the idea and scriptwriting to shooting, editing and post-production. Dybbuk is a short film that seeks to build a progressively uncomfortable and disturbing atmosphere through the visual and sound deterioration of the material and is conceived as a reflection on the limits between fiction and documentary.
