Patios renaturalizados: estudio de un caso

Abstract

El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado nace del interés por conocer e investigar el papel que desempeñan los patios renaturalizados en la escuela actual. Para ello, se ha realizado un estudio de caso en el CEIP Virgen de Sacedón, con el fin de conocer cómo los diferentes agentes que conforman un centro escolar perciben, valoran y utilizan este espacio con fines educativos, integrándolo en sus metodologías, programaciones de aula y atendiendo a las necesidades del alumnado. Este trabajo analiza la evolución histórica de los patios escolares, la normativa que los regula y los elementos clave que influyen en la correcta renaturalización de estos espacios. También se abordan los principales retos y beneficios que conlleva este proceso. En este sentido, un patio renaturalizado representa mucho más que una transformación física del espacio. Es necesario repensar nuestra forma de educar como docentes, saliendo del aula para conectar con la naturaleza y el entorno que nos rodea.

This Final Degree Project comes from an interest in learning and exploring about the role of the renaturalized school playgrounds in current schools. For this purpose, a case study has been carried out in CEIP Virgen de Sacedón, to understand how the different people involved in the school see, value, and use this space for teaching, integrating them into their methodologies, classroom programs, and addressing students' needs. This project analyses the historical evolution of school playgrounds, the regulations that govern them, and the key elements that influence in the successful renaturalization of these spaces. It also talks about the main challenges and benefits of this process. In this sense, a renaturalized playground represents much more than a physical transformation of the space. It also means we, as teachers, need to rethink how we teach: going out of the classroom to connect with nature and the world around us.
