El enfoque comunicativo en el aula de lengua inglesa: el uso del role-play en Educación Primaria

Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se centra en el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en lengua inglesa a través del uso del role-play como estrategia metodológica en el segundo curso de Educación Primaria. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo una revisión teórica del enfoque comunicativo y del papel de la dramatización en el aula de lengua extranjera, así como un análisis del marco normativo actual. A continuación, se presenta una propuesta didáctica de nueve sesiones en la que se trabajan contenidos relacionados con las enfermedades y los hábitos saludables, combinando estructuras lingüísticas básicas con actividades lúdicas, participativas y contextualizadas. El objetivo es fomentar un aprendizaje significativo, funcional y motivador que sitúe al alumnado como protagonista activo de su proceso de aprendizaje y le permita utilizar el idioma en situaciones reales o simuladas.

This Final Degree Project focuses on the development of communicative competence in English through the use of role-play as a methodological strategy in the second year of Primary Education. To this end, a theoretical review of the communicative approach and the role of dramatization in the foreign language classroom has been carried out, along with an analysis of the current educational framework. The project includes a didactic proposal consisting of nine sessions that address vocabulary and structures related to illnesses and healthy habits, combining them with playful, participatory, and contextualized activities. The aim is to foster meaningful, functional, and motivating learning that places students at the center of their own learning process and enables them to use the language in real or simulated situations.
