Migraciones Sur-Sur. Refugiados

Abstract

Teniendo en cuenta la importancia que está tomando en los medios de comunicación, y en las sociedades occidentales en general, el tema de los inmigrantes y, en particular, de los refugiados, por la crisis siria y la ola de personas que huyen hacia Europa, este Trabajo Fin de Máster, va a tratar este tema desde otra perspectiva diferente y, aunque mayoritaria, menos conocida y tratada. Se van a analizar tanto las migraciones como los flujos de refugiados, desde la dirección Sur-Sur. Las migraciones en un plano más general, analizando su evolución, intensidad y características propias, y los flujos de refugiados mediante el análisis de cinco casos concretos, de sus protagonistas, sus causas y la situación provocada, en Afganistán, Darfur (Sudán), Colombia, Palestina y Bangladesh. De este análisis se pretenden extraer una serie de factores comunes, independientemente de las grandes diferencias que se pueden encontrar entres los muy distintos contextos en los que se da cada caso.

Taking into account the importance that is taking in the media, and in the western societies in general, the issue of migrants and, in particular, of refugees, because of the Sirian crisis and the wave of people fleeing toward Europe, this Master’s Thesis, will deal with this item from another different perspective and, although majority, less known and treated. The TFM will analyze South-South. migrations and flows of refugees, Migration will be analyzed at a more general level, studying its evolution, intensity and characteristics, and the flows of refugees, its actors, its causes and the situation caused, through the analysis of five specific cases in Afghanistan, Darfur (Sudan), Colombia, Palestine and Bangladesh. This analysis is intended to allow the discovery of deduct a series of common factors, regardless of the differences that can be found between the very different contexts in which they occur.
