Estadio olímpico de Beijing. Estudio y análisis de su modelo estructural.

Abstract

El estadio nacional u olímpico de Beijing, diseñado por los arquitectos Herzog & de Meuron para los 29º Juegos Olímpicos modernos, es un hito a escala mundial, con un complejo modelo estructural que se pretende estudiar y analizar a través de este trabajo. Para ello con anterioridad se realizará un estudio sobre una selección de estadios de parecida complejidad y singularidad. Tras analizar estos estadios se utiliza este estudio previo para abordar el análisis exhaustivo del estadio, comenzando por su documentación gráfica y estructural, extrayendo las diferentes geometrías estructurales y los posibles esquemas del modelo estructural, y llegando hasta el despiece y realización un análisis de la estructura para tratar de ver como sería posible calcular este estadio de la forma más sencilla posible.

The national or Olympic stadium in Beijing, designed by the architects Herzog & de Meuron for the 29th modern Olympic Games, is a landmark on a global scale, with a complex structural model that we intend to study and analyze through this asessment. To this end, a study of a selection of stadiums of similar complexity and uniqueness will be carried out beforehand. After analyzing these stadiums, this previous study is used to approach the exhaustive analysis of the stadium, starting with its graphic and structural documentation, extracting the different structural geometries and the possible schemes of the structural model, and reaching the quartering and analysis of the structure to try to see how it would be possible to calculate this stadium in the simplest possible way.
