El valor de aprender en la naturaleza. Acercamiento a proyectos ecoeducativos al aire libre: beneficios y posibilidades

Abstract

En una sociedad cada vez más tecnológica y separada de la naturaleza, surge la necesidad de volver a ella, pues este déficit de naturaleza, como afirma Richard Louv, podría ser la causante de algunas de las problemáticas que aparecen en la infancia. Por ello, surgen iniciativas que se basan en la ecoeducación y en la pedagogía verde. Estas escuelas nos acercan a la naturaleza para amarla y que de este amor surja el respeto y la preocupación por cuidar el planeta. Trabajando de manera colaborativa, sus propuestas nos alejan del consumismo y el capitalismo que tanto caracterizan a la sociedad occidental. Todo ello, desde un acompañamiento respetuoso, donde los/as niños/as son los protagonistas. Estas escuelas, de momento, pertenecen a la educación no formal y esperan que en algún momento puedan conseguir la homologación necesaria dentro del sistema educativo español. Este trabajo, además de ofrecer aspectos teóricos que hacen referencia a este tipo de educación, se acerca a experiencias reales que sirven de testimonio para dar a conocer los múltiples beneficos y posibilidades de las escuelas en la naturaleza.

In a society that is increasingly technological and separated from nature, there is a need to return to it, because this lack of nature, as Richard Louv states, could be the cause of some of the problems that appear in childhood. For this reason, initiatives based on eco-education and green pedagogy have arisen. These schools bring us closer to nature in order to love it and from this love comes respect and concern for the planet. Working collaboratively, their proposals distance us from the consumerism and capitalism that characterize Western society. All this, from a respectful accompaniment, where the children are the protagonists. These schools, for the time being, belong to non-formal education and hope that at some point they will be able to obtain the necessary homologation within the Spanish educational system. This work, besides offering theoretical aspects that make reference to this type of education, approaches to real experiences that serve as testimony to make known the multiple benefits and possibilities of the schools in nature.
