Blancanieves, de las versiones canónicas a la Blancanieves feminista de Marta Sanz y Clemente Bernad

Abstract

Blancanieves es un cuento tradicional que todo el mundo conoce; en el siglo XIX, fue recogido por los hermanos Grimm en la colección Cuentos para la infancia y el hogar, y esta versión escrita pasó a actuar como versión canónica. Más adelante, el largometraje de animación de Blancanieves y los siete enanitos (1937), producida por Walt Disney quedó igualmente incorporado a los imaginarios de lectores y espectadores. A lo largo de los años numerosos artistas se han visto atraídos por esta obra y, reescribiéndola, han conseguido transmitir otros mensajes diferentes al original. En este trabajo abordaremos la reescritura elaborada por Marta Sanz en 2014. Propone una profunda revisión del tema en un libro publicado junto con las fotografías de Clemente Bernard en la colección Te cuento… de Alkibla.

Snowhite is a traditional tale that everyone knows; in the 19th century, it was collected by the Brothers Grimm in the collection Tales for Childhood and the Home, and this written version came to act as the canonical version. Later, the animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), produced by Walt Disney, was also incorporated into the imagination of readers and viewers. Over the years, many artists have been attracted by this work and, by rewriting it, have managed to convey other messages different from the original. In this paper we will address the rewriting elaborated by Marta Sanz in 2014. She proposes a profound revision of the theme in a book published together with the photographs of Clemente Bernard in the collection Te cuento... of Alkibla.
