De la piedra Rosetta a las supercomputadoras, la traducción en el siglo XXI

Abstract

The present dissertation offers a diachronic view of translation throughout ages: from the Rosetta Stone up to now. We will talk about history, cultures, new technologies…, all of this from the translator’s point of view. Will one day the technology be able to surpass and substitute the human translator? This is the main question we want to answer, and show that the humanmachine combination is the perfect mix for today’s ever-changing, multicultural and hypercommunicated society.

Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit macht eine diachronische Blick von Übersetzung durch verschiedene Epochen: von das Rosetta Stein bis Heutzutage. Wir werden über Geschichte, Kultur, neue Technologien, usw. sprechen. Alles von dem Übersetzer Ansicht. Könnte die Technologie die Menschen übertreten oder ersetzen? Das ist die Hauptfrage wir antworten wollen, und zeigen dass die Mensch-machine Kombination die perfekte Mischung für die aktuelle, multikulturelle, wechselnde und megamitteilende Gesellschaft perfekt ist.
