dc.description.abstract | Las investigaciones actuales sugieren que la Inteligencia Emocional puede tener algún efecto en el Burnout. En este sentido, el propósito de este estudio fue analizar la relación existente entre Inteligencia Emocional, Burnout, Engagement, Satisfacción con la vida y Satisfacción laboral, en una muestra de 52 profesores de diferentes etapas educativas. Para ello, se utilizaron las versiones en castellano de los siguientes instrumentos: Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24), para medir Inteligencia emocional; Maslach Burnout Inventory:General Survey (MBI-GS) que evalúa el Burnout; Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17), para medir el Engagement; la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida (SWLS) y la Escala general de Satisfacción laboral. Tras el análisis de resultados, se puede concluir que la Inteligencia Emocional en todas sus dimensiones correlaciona significativa y positivamente con el componente de Eficacia Profesional, con el componente de Vigor y con la satisfacción con la vida. Por su parte, la Inteligencia Emocional no correlaciona con la Satisfacción laboral ni con los componentes restantes de las otras variables estudiadas. | es |
dc.description.abstract | Current research suggests that Emotional Intelligence may have some effect on Burnout. In this sense, the purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Emotional Intelligence with burnout, engagement, life satisfaction and work satisfaction, in a sample of 52 teachers from different educational stages. To do this, the Spanish version of the following instruments were used: Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24), to measure emotional intelligence; Maslach Burnout Inventory:General Survey (MBI-GS), to assess burnout; Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17), to measure engagement; the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the general scale of job satisfaction. After analyzing the results, it can be concluded that Emotional Intelligence in all its dimensions correlates significantly and positively with the Professional Efficiency component, with the Vigor component and with life satisfaction. Meanwhile Emotional Intelligence does not correlate with Job Satisfaction or with the remaining components of the other variables studied. | es |
