Iniciación al lenguaje algebraico en Secundaria mediante actividades lúdicas y juegos

Abstract

El presente trabajo versa sobre la implementación de actividades lúdicas y juegos para la enseñanza del álgebra en el primer ciclo de la ESO. Consta del marco legislativo, un marco teórico sobre las teorías didácticas más relevantes, un capítulo sobre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje del álgebra, donde mostramos las dificultades más habituales con las que se encuentran los alumnos, y un capítulo dedicado a las actividades lúdicas y juegos que podemos emplear en clase de matemáticas. Finalmente, presentamos nuestra propuesta didáctica, la cual consideramos que va a contribuir en el incremento del interés y la motivación del alumnado hacia el álgebra, a fomentar el aprendizaje significativo y a mejorar sus resultados académicos.

This work focuses on the implementation of recreational activities and educational games in the area of algebra in the middle school. The work consists on the legislative framework and the theorical framework about the most relevant theories in mathematics education, a chapter about the teaching and learning of algebra and the dificulties which students have with it and a chapter about the recreative activites and games which we could use in mathematics lessons. Finally, we present our educational proposal, which we consider that it will contribute to increase the interest and the motivation of students towards algebra, develop their significative learning and improve their academic results.
