La influencia de la familia en la educación alimentaria. Las familias vegetarianas y veganas

Abstract

En España, cada vez son más familias las que solicitan menús veganos/vegetarianos en los colegios de sus hijos/as, pero, en la mayoría de los casos, por parte de la escuela reciben rechazo ante su petición debido a la poca visibilidad y la falta de conocimiento que tiene a cerca de este tipo de dietas. Por ello, el objetivo principal del presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado es observar, investigar y analizar la forma en la que las instituciones educativas se están adaptando, actualmente, a las familias veganas/vegetarianas. La investigación que se ha llevado a cabo está basada en la metodología cualitativa y como técnica de recolección de datos se ha empleado la entrevista semiestructurada. Dichas entrevistas se han llevado a cabo con familias veganas/vegetarianas y con colegios que ofrecían menús veganos/vegetarianos con el fin de recopilar la mayor información posible a cerca de esta problemática y, posteriormente, analizar y sacar conclusiones.

In Spain, more and more families are requesting vegan/vegetarian menus in their children's schools, but, in most cases, the school rejects their request due to the low visibility and lack of knowledge about this type of diet. Therefore, the main objective of this Final Degree Project is to observe, investigate and analyze the way in which educational institutions currently adapt to vegan/vegetarian families. The research that has been carried out is based on qualitative methodology and the semi-structured interview has been used as a data collection technique. These interviews were carried out with vegan/vegetarian families and with schools offering vegan/vegetarian menus in order to gather as much information as possible about this problem and, subsequently, to analyze and draw conclusions.
