Las funciones ejecutivas en el alumnado con trastorno del espectro autista: intervención educativa

Abstract

En este documento abordaremos los aspectos más relevantes sobre el Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) haciendo hincapié en la afectación que tiene este trastorno en las funciones ejecutivas. Profundizaremos de manera teórica en dicho trastorno, afectación, comorbilidad y características, de igual manera que el término de las funciones ejecutivas y los ámbitos donde el alumno con TEA presenta dificultades. De una manera práctica he llevado a cabo durante este tiempo de prácticas el estudio del caso de un alumno de 1 ciclo, concretamente 1º de educación primaria, con TEA. Con él he podido trabajar durante sesiones viendo su desarrollo y progreso teniendo siempre presente un claro objetivo como es, su correcto aprendizaje y desarrollo en la vida cotidiana. A continuación, muestro una intervención educativa para poder trabajar como indiqué antes las funciones ejecutivas donde existen dificultades.

In this document we will address the most relevant aspects of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emphasizing the impact that this disorder has on executive functions. We will theoretically delve into this disorder, affectation, comorbidity, and characteristics, as well as the term of executive functions and the areas where the student with ASD presents difficulties. In a practical way I have carried out during this time of internship the study of the case of a student of 1 cycle, specifically 1st of primary education, with ASD. I have been able to work with him during sessions seeing his development and progress always keeping in mind a clear objective such as his correct learning and development in daily life. Next, I show an educational intervention to be able to work as I indicated before on executive functions where there are difficulties.
