Las brujas en la literatura clásica: un itinerario lector como propuesta didáctica.

Abstract

Los itinerarios lectores son herramientas que permiten fomentar en los estudiantes el interés por la literatura por medio de una selección de textos, coloquios, ejercicios, reflexiones y comentarios que hacen del proceso de la lectura más pleno y enriquecedor. En el ámbito del latín este tipo de experiencia es aún de mayor importancia dado el gran valor e influencia que la literatura grecolatina ha tenido en nuestra cultura occidental. Los textos cuya lectura formarán parte de este itinerario lector tiene como protagonistas, a las brujas, personajes que, junto al mundo de lo mágico, puede resultar de gran interés para los alumnos de hoy en día. A su vez, son un ejemplo claro de cómo incluso en la actualidad aquellas características que los antiguos asociaron con estas hechiceras siguen formando parte de nuestro imaginario colectivo al preguntarnos ¿Qué es una bruja?

Reading itineraries are tools that help foster students’ interest in literature through a selection of texts, discussions, exercises, reflections, and commentaries that make the reading process more fulfilling and enriching. In the field of Latin, this type of experience is even more important due to the significant value and influence that Greco-Roman literature has had on our Western culture. The texts included in this reading itinerary feature witches as their main characters—figures who, along with the magical world they inhabit, may greatly appeal to today’s students. At the same time, they offer a clear example of how, even today, the traits that the ancients associated with these sorceresses continue to shape our collective imagination when we ask ourselves: What is a witch?
